Nubotanik Body Scrub Review
I recently received a bag of Nubotanik's Body Scrub with Coffeeberry to test out. I was interested in trying it out since it's not the typical coffee scrub, as it is made from the whole fruit of the coffee plant, not just the seed (coffee beans). I did a little bit of research and found out that the Coffeeberry is much more rich in nutrients for the skin than the coffee bean alone. It contains powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, which can help to fight damage to the skin and signs of aging.
After checking the ingredients on the bag, I was happy to see that everything in the scrub is super natural. Another thing I really liked about this scrub is that is has lots of wonderful sources of moisture from almond oil, jojoba oil, and vitamin E. It is so important to moisturize whenever you exfoliate, since you are removing the top layer of dead skin. Moisturizing while exfoliating helps to bring back balance to the skin and keep it looking soft and glowing. By putting the moisturizers into the scrub, it cuts out an extra step for me and saves me a lot of time when I am scrambling to get ready in the morning.
So far, I have used this scrub a few times and I am really enjoying it. I love the way it feels going on and how nice it smells (I have it in the scent 'amour'). I apply it in the shower after getting my skin wet and shutting the water off. I massage it in circular motions all over the body and allow it to sit for a few minutes to absorb all the nutrients. I noticed after the first use my skin felt very soft and so moisturized that I didn't even need to put lotion or body oil on after I showered.
By the time I am finished with the entire bag, I am hoping to see improvements with the overall tone of my skin, along with less flakiness from lack of moisture. I'll be sure to update you on my progress when I finish!
